Wheelchair accessible vehicles are a large part of First Stop Travel and we are entrusted with contracts from Suffolk County Council and West Suffolk Hospital to provide second to none transport for up to 5 wheelchairs in one of our vehicles in addition to all of our regular private clients.
As one of the largest providers of wheelchair accessible vehicles in Suffolk, we have a range of wheelchair accessible vehicles catering for 1-5 wheelchairs plus passengers. Our purpose-built minibus can take five wheelchairs plus passengers; our taxis can accommodate 1 wheelchair plus passengers.
Ramps and Lifts Available
For those who find climbing up and down steps difficult, ramps and lifts are available to assist passengers in and out of vehicles. Drivers are helpful and are fully trained and conversant with the use of these.
